Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is the country music and pop artist. She was in 2007 when she released two singles, as well as an album entitled Satisfied. After that, she founded a Pistol Annies group with Angaleena Lambert, Miranda Lambert and Angaleena. Later, they released their second album, entitled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake Shelton in 2015. The singer-songwriter released The Blade, an album that earned her acclaim. Ashley Monroe holds a position as the Assistant Village Manager for Riverside Illinois. She has fifteen years' experience working within the public sector including nearly five-year stints in Iowa City. The position she is in now the Village Manager's Assistant and holds a wide range of responsibilities that include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department and overseeing grants and special projects. In Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of the village's services, while also working towards the vision for strategic planning of elected officials as well as the residents. Ashley's prior roles include municipal planning, government communications, budgeting, personnel management and collective negotiations. Additionally, she was involved in actions to combat climate change. Ashley has the ability to benefit from her experiences working with a range of communities and national organizations. She also has learned about the way in which public organisations function. Ashley's teaching focuses on the current approach to management and leadership within public institutions from a seasoned practitioner. Alongside providing an environment for both current and future practitioners Ashley focuses on the necessity to adapting the current strategic and ethical decision-making in order to address challenges and take advantage of opportunities.
